Teachers’ Lounge: Brand Bag 101

I receive commission for purchases or clicks made through the links in this post. Xoxo, Lady Samantha

School’s in session, kids. Now put away your book bags because we have a lot of ground to cover. Lady Samantha here with lesson that you’ll definitely want to learn.

The cyclical nature of fashion is actually something we can use to our advantage. If you’re willing to save hundreds by buying vintage, you can actually be ahead of the trend. Dare I say, girl boss? I’ll show you what I mean.

The Anya Hindmarch brand bags are on my drool list. They are sparkly, impractical, and humorous- the trifecta of impulse buying. They make my heart race when I look at them. I know, its a sickness really. Practical, impractical things make my heart happy which is in direct opposition to my German-ness. So what do I do? I look for vintage alternatives.

There’s nothing new under the sun, babes. That simple fact means that you and I can enjoy playing around with fashion without having to refinance our homes. Who am I kidding? I still live with my parents. I want to help you, help yourself in becoming a more efficient shopper. I do all the work so all you have to do is click pay.

It genuinely doesn’t matter what I’m looking for. I always look for the vintage equivalent. Whether it be interior design or fashion related. I love the thrill of the hunt and sticking it to the man in terms of saving money. It’s like a mini rebellion that is also a sustainable practice. Of course, if brands were to send me said bags I would never be opposed. I mean it’s only good business, right?
