When I design something, it is all very instinctual. I see one item that sparks off a room. I’m sure most designers can attest to the spark that sets off a wildfire. It’s a wonderful rush. However, I am still on the journey to figure out what my style is. Maybe my style is that I genuinely like everything. Maybe it’s more of a distinctness than a specific style. Maybe I think too much on a Wednesday night.
Anyway, this ensemble took me 15 minutes to create. The appeal of this design is that it is visually rich, but minimal in furnishings. I can see the appeal of minimalism, but ONLY if it’s fun. My brain will never be able to comprehend sterile spaces. Have a wonderful Thursday, my darlings!
Side Note: A vintage quilt is a great hack for a large, affordable piece of art. I would hang it with a drapery rod and rings that have clips on them. This is $70ish for the quilt, and you can get the hardware for $20ish bucks on Amazon. Boom. Roasted.
